Petkim, as the sole producer of basic petrochemicals and the biggest producer of thermoplastics and intermediates, is the leader company of Turkish petrochemical industry since 1970. ROLE IN PROJECT:

End User-Petrochemical Industry.

PETKIM will exploit their industrial knowledge and know-how on the demonstration and commercial utilisation of a new, efficient technology for CO₂ capture. PETKIM will be able to produce value added products through CO₂ utilisation, converting the vent gas to a valuable fuel. DME is a new product for PETKIM, which has a large product portfolio from naphta as raw material to aromatics and polymers.
